Hard Surface course + E-book

Most lessons can be followed with any version of Blender between 2.8 and later (5.2 and up). The techniques used don't depend on new features, it's more evergreen techniques (I dare say, could probably even use them in other 3D software!) But if you find something where I point to a specific button and you can't find it in your version of Blender, just ask and I'll point you to where you can find it (sometimes they like to move things around).

No paid add-ons needed, all done with vanilla Blender. In the course l use some add-ons that come with Blender by default.

I would recommend 8GB RAM as a minimum for a pleasant Blender experience, which most modern laptops and computers should have.

For the hard surface modeling course, you don't need a graphics tablet. The book contains some tips about sculpting and texture painting, for those I would recommend a graphics tablet or drawing screen. Most of them are pretty good these days, so you don't need to spend too much money on it.

Some basic Blender experience would definitely be a good idea. For the modeling course, we start simple and slowly ramp up the difficulty. It's all step by step and if something is unclear, you can ask me for additional explanation (there is a comment section under each video).

No, you don't need any other apps.

There is 23 hours of content already, which is all the modeling and uv unwrapping content. Currently I'm adding new material and texture lessons, so it will be more than that in the end.

The lessons are roughly 10 minutes each, so you can do one or two every day for a nice learning pace.
